The challenge
BRINC was unveiling its most important product yet: a drone built, in founder Blake Resnick's words, to “replace the police helicopter”. The launch happened on the same day the company opened its new Seattle headquarters and factory. It had to land twice: for the guests in the room, and live for the public-safety agencies watching online.
What we did
We produced it as a live broadcast, not a filmed keynote. Multi-camera coverage with a jib and a gimbal, an on-site switcher and a stage built around an LED wall. Guardian and its robotic charging station were shown on stage and outside on the campus, so viewers saw the product in the real world, not only in a render.
The result
A 36-minute launch that carried the whole story in one take: the product, the factory and the team behind it. The launch was picked up by GeekWire, Motorola Solutions, sUAS News and RoboticsTomorrow.
